The roots of the house lie in the basement. In the basement the days and nights are darker. In the basement it runs out.

Alexander was curious and adventurous. He had no interest in the part of the house that lay above ground; The library, the cozy fireplace or the big rooms. He looked down into the basement, where he could lay in the bathtub and allow the water to surround the body, find how it cooled gradually as he watched the beans plant that grew up from the drop in the floor. The plant was some kind of proof; Here he was next to nature; here was the sky between nature and the human being diluted. He also found it on the walls, the earth on the other side of the bricks wanted to enter. She called on him.
Alexander was obsessed with what others did not expect. He lifted the plants out of the expensive Chinese flower pots and studied the dishes – where life was, what lay above was just a decorative decoration. According to him, the man-made was just on the surface, like thin crusts. Above the earth, other laws apply, where the roots were tied to the ground, mushrooms and almonds. There was the decay of the prerequisite of a new life.
